Gasoline Running Power
Delivers up to 5,000W of continuous rated output with up to 6,800W temporary peak power. Ideal when your managed load plan requires the generator's highest published power rating.
Propane Running Power
Delivers up to 4,500W of continuous rated output with up to 6,100W temporary peak power. Propane provides convenient stored-fuel flexibility for compatible RV and backup setups.
Natural Gas Running Power
Delivers up to 4,000W of continuous rated output with up to 5,400W temporary peak power. A suitable fixed natural gas supply can provide another option for longer-duration outage planning.
The 6800PT supports three different fuel sources. It includes a propane hose with regulator and a natural gas hose. Use only the correct fuel connections and operating procedures described in the owner's manual. Natural gas supply pressure, gas flow, piping capacity and connection requirements must be verified before use.
Power Planning: Gasoline: 6,800W peak / 5,000W running. Propane: 6,100W peak / 4,500W running. Natural Gas: 5,400W peak / 4,000W running. Peak wattages are temporary ratings and should not be used as continuous load limits. The total generator capacity is shared across its outlets. Individual receptacle and breaker ratings still apply. For 120V/240V configurations, observe the actual voltage mode, circuit limits and electrical leg-load requirements.

Power Planning Note: Wattages shown are illustrative estimates, not guaranteed appliance specifications. Actual motor starting surge may vary significantly, even between appliances with the same horsepower or BTU rating. The ERAYAK 6800PT provides: 6,800W peak / 5,000W running on gasoline; 6,100W peak / 4,500W running on propane; and 5,400W peak / 4,000W running on natural gas. Remote & Electric Start
Start the generator with the remote controller or one-touch electric start. Manual recoil backup provides an additional starting method.
Gasoline Runtime
With the 2.9 gal gasoline tank, published approximate runtime is 10–12 hours at 25% load, 7–8 hours at 50% load, or 4–5 hours at rated load.
Propane Fuel Setup
The 6800PT includes a propane LPG hose with regulator. Connect a compatible propane cylinder using the provided hardware according to the owner's manual.
Natural Gas Connection
The 6800PT includes a natural gas hose. Have the gas supply, pressure, flow and connection evaluated by a qualified professional according to local codes.
ECO Mode
Engine speed adjusts to electrical demand to help reduce fuel consumption and operating noise. Disable ECO mode when needed for high-surge motor starting.
Protection & Monitoring
Low-oil protection, overload protection and CO shutdown help protect the generator. Follow panel indicators and the owner's manual when a shutdown occurs.

Connect Your Power the Right Way.
Use the included RV adapter with the L5-30R outlet for compatible 30A RV connections. For selected home backup circuits, use the L14-30R through properly rated transfer equipment. Natural gas connections require an appropriately configured gas supply.
Choose Your Fuel
Prepare gasoline, propane or natural gas according to the owner's manual. Confirm fuel availability and available generator output for your selected fuel. Natural gas supply connections should be evaluated by a qualified professional.
Connect Your RV Adapter
With the generator stopped and RV electrical loads off, insert the included L5-30P to TT-30R adapter into the generator's 120V L5-30R receptacle. Connect a compatible 30A RV power cord.
Start & Manage Power
Start the generator using the electric, remote or recoil starting procedure. Allow output to stabilize, then add electrical loads gradually. Monitor total load and fuel-dependent power limits.
120V/240V Home Backup Connection
The NEMA L14-30R outlet can support compatible selected household circuits through an appropriately rated power inlet and approved transfer switch or interlock. Have a qualified electrician evaluate the connection, voltage requirements, neutral and grounding configuration, circuit ratings and electrical-leg balance. The generator must never be connected directly to a household wall receptacle to backfeed the home.
Natural Gas Home Backup Planning
The 6800PT can operate on a compatible natural gas supply, with a rated running output of 4,000W. The supplied gas pressure, flow rate, piping capacity and connection hardware must meet the manufacturer's requirements. Natural gas plumbing and connection work should be performed by qualified professionals under applicable local codes. Natural gas availability does not guarantee uninterrupted operation during every outage.
RV Compatibility: The included L5-30P to TT-30R adapter is intended for compatible 120V 30A RV connections. It does not provide full 50A RV service, create 240V through the L5-30R, or increase the generator's available electrical output. Check the RV cord rating, air conditioner starting surge and total connected load before operation.
Operate the generator outdoors only, at least 20 ft from doors, windows and vents, with exhaust directed away from occupied buildings. Never operate inside an RV, tent, house, garage, shed or any enclosed or partially enclosed space. Use working carbon monoxide alarms inside occupied buildings. Keep the generator dry and do not operate in rain, standing water or flooded conditions. Never refuel a hot or running engine. Install propane and natural gas connections using the correct manufacturer-specified equipment. Check gas connections for leaks according to approved procedures. Use properly rated cords, adapters and transfer equipment. Never backfeed household wiring. Always follow the current ERAYAK 6800 Series owner's manual and applicable electrical and gas safety requirements.

1. Engine Oil — The Most Important Routine Service
Checking and changing the engine oil is the most important maintenance step.
Before Each Use
Check the oil level and make sure it is within the recommended range.
First Oil Change
Change the engine oil after:
20 operating hours or 1 month, whichever comes first.
Regular Oil Changes
After the first service, change the oil every:
50 operating hours or 3 months.
Basic Oil Change
- Stop the generator before maintenance.
- Place the generator on a level surface.
- Remove the oil dipstick.
- Remove the oil drain bolt and drain the used oil.
- Reinstall and tighten the drain bolt.
- Add the recommended engine oil.
- Check the oil level.
- Reinstall the dipstick.
2. Air Filter — Easy to Inspect and Clean
A clean air filter helps the engine breathe properly and protects the carburetor and engine from dust.
Routine Care
Check the air filter before every use.
If the foam filter becomes dirty:
- Remove the air filter cover.
- Remove and inspect the filter element.
- Wash it with warm soapy water or an approved non-flammable cleaner.
- Rinse and squeeze it dry.
- Apply a few drops of engine oil to the foam element.
- Reinstall the filter and cover.
Never operate the generator without the air filter installed.
3. Spark Plug — Only Occasional Attention Needed
The spark plug does not require frequent maintenance.
For the tri-fuel 6800PT, use the spark plug specification listed in the owner's manual.
Inspect the spark plug approximately every:
270 operating hours or once per year.
Check for:
- Carbon buildup
- Damaged insulation
- Excessive electrode wear
- Incorrect electrode gap
Clean and adjust the spark plug when appropriate, or replace it if damaged.
Heavy-Duty or Dusty Conditions
More frequent maintenance is recommended when the generator operates under demanding conditions.
High Temperature or Heavy Load
If the generator is frequently operated under high temperature or heavy load conditions:
Change the engine oil every 10 operating hours.
Dusty or Harsh Environments
If the generator is frequently used in dusty conditions:
- Clean the air filter every 10 hours
- Replace the air filter approximately every 25 hours if necessary
Long-Term Storage
Preparing the generator correctly for storage helps prevent fuel-system problems when you need it again.
Before long-term storage:
- Allow the generator to cool completely.
- Store it in a clean, dry location.
- Remove fuel from the gasoline tank.
- Clean the fuel filter components as required.
- Drain remaining gasoline from the carburetor.
- Tighten the carburetor drain bolt after draining.
- Store the generator according to the owner's manual.

I finally was able tobrun the generator after getting the natural gas line and the manual transfer switch installed. I was impressed with how quiet the generator is and quieter on the eco mode. My only complaint and the reason for not giving 5 stars is the switches that are covered by a flexible material. I can't tell if the circuit breakers are on or off. When I push on the switch the switch doesn't move in or out, so I don't know iff the breaker is on or off. The same issue with the 120V/240V rocker switch. We had to really push hard on the switch. I will raise this issue with customer support. After the generator warmed up we tested the 6 circuit manual transfer swith and had no issues at all. My hope is that I never have to use the generator for obvious reasons, but I feel very confident this generator will be up to the job.

Unit operates as advertised though wners manual can use some improvement. Errors in grammer and sentences makes portions of manual hard to follow. Manual needs more detail in how to use features.
