I have been looking for a generator for a while, after reading several reviews we decided to give this one a try due to the price and power combination. We bought this to use for one out of camping trips! We were not disappointed. The generator has amazing power. We were able to run the heater and several other plugs for multiple family members including two teenager, so you know it was running nonstop ;). The value for the money is amazing. I was satisfied with how long we ran it and we did not run out of propane. We camped for the weekend on one tank of propane, which wasn’t empty when we got home. It’s easy to use and I was able to carry it by myself and I am a 5 foot women. The weight of the generator is a mere 54 lbs compared to several others that are much heavier. This makes transporting it a lot easier. It has handles to make transporting it easily and carrying it easier.

The design is great has an easy-to-use knob and an easy pull to start. It was not difficult to start and never shut off. Also, when running some generators give off a heave odor. I could not even smell this one. the design is functional and esthetic. Easy fix you just switch it back. Enough power to run my fridge and deep freezer and also has the plug options for the larger appliances. Luckily we had this because a storm hit the following weekend and we lost power for a day. This was able to keep our deep freezer running and none of the food went bad. If you are looking for a generator to purchase this one would be a great buy. Would def recommend!

Easy starting on both fuel types. Smooth, quiet operation under all loads for my camper trailer, running my AC, fridge, and a few appliances - all I needed to do out of the box was add engine oil.

We needed something for hurricane season as we live in Florida and you never know when the next storm is going to hit. I like that this is a dual fuel and it's portable. We used it this weekend for our camping trip on the propane setting and a lasted the whole weekend with no problem. It never switched over to the fuel. Biggest thing is make sure you follow the directions for setting it up but once that's done it works perfectly

I haven't been able to use my Erayak 4500 Dual yet in a dry camping situation, however, I did unpack and did a test run with it. It worked perfectly. I did get a little surprised on the battery hookup because the two leads were zip tied together for shipping and I didn't notice this at first. When I realized no power, I immediately went to the battery cable and realized that I needed to cut the zip tie and connect the two leads. Sound volume from the generator is low. I was extremely impressed with how well the unit was packed for shipping. Double wall container with packing within each wall. It would be difficult to damage one of these in shipping process.

Generator works well. It’s quiet until you put a max load on it. Though, it is much quieter than one from harbor freight. I used during the summer for my campers A/C and fridge. I had to turn off the A/C to use the microwave though. That’s pretty standard with this wattage. Overall good generator and I’d recommend it.

So far it seems to be working well. I just did the break in last week. Have done 2 oil changes within 10 hours of break in and various loads up to 40%. Engine keeps up and seems smooth.
Ran it with a 2400 CFM blower fan 1380 watts then portable AC about 1800 watts plus cycling on and off. This was a good test of capability. I look forward to running it on propane soon. It is more important to do a good break in. Let’s see how it does after a few hundred hours.

I bought the Erayak 4500 generator a little over three months ago mainly as a backup power source for storms and camping trips, and honestly it has been much better than I expected for the price. The first thing I noticed was how easy it was to set up. It came mostly ready to go, and within about 15 minutes I had it running without any issues.

What impressed me most is how surprisingly quiet it is compared to older generators I’ve owned. It’s obviously not silent, but the noise level is low enough that you can still have a conversation nearby without shouting. I’ve used it during a power outage to run a refrigerator, lights, fans, Wi-Fi router, and even charge multiple phones at the same time without problems.

The fuel efficiency has also been solid. I expected to burn through gas quickly, but it actually lasted most of the night during one outage while powering essentials. The build quality feels sturdy and not cheap or flimsy like some generators in this price range.

One thing I would improve is the wheel kit. It works fine, but moving it around on rough ground can still be a little awkward because of the weight. Other than that, I really don’t have many complaints.

Overall, I think the Erayak 4500 is a dependable generator for home backup, camping, or emergency use. For the money, it offers a really good balance of power, portability, and reliability.

Provides great power but quite loud when you buy this it will not start until you add oil. Size is hand held but still quite heavy maybe 40-55lbs. Fuel works great on propane or gas. Easy to use if you understand that you should read the Manuel or understand my comment of adding oil. One pull to starting time maybe 5minutes setup (with oil) ( to be honest didn't read the Manuel but it's very self explaining) if it don't start add oil(kinda like sling blade) "ain't got no oil in it" when ya buy it.

Received 2 days after order and was packaged great. Instructions and video information is awesome. Filled with oil and hooked up propane tank and started right away. Very quiet compared to my other gas generator. Lightweight and easy to carry will work great with my travel trailer.

It was packaged well and arrived without any problems. Took about 10 minutes to set up (add oil,gas,and connect batty).Broke it in for about 10 hours and everything worked as advertised. It started very easily and switched between gas and propane flawlessly.

It is pretty much what I expected. So far I only run in for 1/2 an hour. I like its light weight - I can carry it around woods no problem. The manual should get some improvement. I had to unscrew both side covers to find oil fill.

Works as advertised, started right up ran thru a break in period, impressed with performance. Great generator for the money!

So happy with your customer service that provided so much information after I made my order. I am impressed with how easy it was to get it up and running. I bought it for emergencies when the power is off. Now I know I will have heat in rural Montana when it happens.

Manual does not cover issues you may have removing them. I had to pry it off. The clip insert was stiff and slot slightly undersized. Not major issue but concerning. Everything else so far is good. It runs and produces power on gasoline. Will try propane tomorrow.

The instructions and youtube video made setting up this inverter a breeze.
We'll be using it this summer and by all accounts so far, I feel it should probably work just fine.

Perfect size for the back porch. Runs on gas or propane. Heavy, but heavy duty and easier to deal with than our larger unit.

Bought it for a camping trip in Colorado and this generator is very quiet and does really well on gas consumption when under a load. Well worth the purchase.
