Functions as advertised, easy to operate

Love, love, love the generator. Easy to assemble, very easy to start and operate. Presently I have run it on gasoline and propane with no issues. If I had to find one thing I wish was better it would probably be the high noise level. But that is getting pretty picky. I highly recommend the generator.

Amazing features

Excellent generator. Quiet, easy to start, and smooth running. But the real standout is the customer service. My generator wouldn't draw from a propane tank (gas worked fine). ERAYAK's support team walked me through troubleshooting, sent a replacement regulator, and when that didn't resolve it, arranged a full replacement. That kind of customer service is rare. They've earned a customer for life.Great product, even better service. Definitely recommend.

Low Noise Performance

This is the best generator of the 20+ that i have owned.
I wanted an invertor generator for the cleaner power output, and to reduce noise and fuel consumption under light loads.
I also wanted to primarily run it on Natural Gas during power outages, but still be able to use propane or gasoline if needed. There aren't many choices for tri-fuel inverter generators, and most invertor generators are very small. It can also be paralleled with a second generator for double output. This is important for me because running on natural gas doesn't provide full rated power like gasoline. Paralleled units should run everything, including my central AC without a problem.
The quality is excellent.
It's a bit heavy to be used as a portable unit, but it is nice to be able to move it around when needed.

generator

Fast delivery, excellent package, and easy to assemble. I ran this generator with propane and it started right up with no problems. I've been running the generator for 2 weeks, 8-10 hours a day, and haven't had a single issue. I strongly recommend this product. wish they include the oil

Perfect Buy

The ERAYAK generator works excellently during emergencies, like a Texas hurricane. It runs on both gasoline and propane, which gives it flexibility in fuel options. Unlike a standard inverter generator, its powerful and reliable a must have for any emergency situation.

Awesome

This generator is very quiet and after connecting it up to the natural gas line, filling it with oil (ONLY thing I wished they included in the box) it did not take long to fire up. It did turn over several times, to be expected, but then it ran perfectly. I have not yet connected it to my house, need to get that wiring done - but it's set up for now. The seller did a great job, making sure (expect for the oil) that you could fire this up, out of the box. I had to drive to a store to buy the oil - but not a big deal. My suggestion to the seller will be to ADD a sealed bottle (quart) of oil. Some customers may not have the oil on hand and have to drive some distance to get the specific oil.Overall, I recommend the generator and the seller. Super chuffed that I bought it.

Powerful, Reliable, and Very Easy to Use.

Ive been extremely happy with this generator. It was very easy to set up and operate right out of the box.
One of the biggest advantages is the tri-fuel capability. I connected mine directly to my homes natural gas line, but I also tested it on gasoline and it started right up without any issues. Having the flexibility to run on natural gas, propane, or gasoline makes it incredibly convenient and reassuring during outages.

ERAYAK generators are excellent

My ERAYAK generator was easy to set up and operate. I just connected my propane tank, plugged in my electrical connection, it started right up and ran great. It was also quiet. The main panel had everything you would need to monitor the power and supply 240 volts and many 110-volt outlets. Its a great generator.

Best generator I ever owned

This generator is a beast!!! It runs on propane, natural gas, and gasoline. Gasoline gives it the peak wattage, and it is very capable!!!I take this generator on every job I go to, and it handles everything I throw at it!!!! This is one strong and durable machine, and Im glad I did my research on it!!!!

Best Generator Ever!

I purchased this generator to provide my household backup power during numerous power outages in my neighborhood. It has performed very good each and every-time. With one other person helping me, it was extremely straightforward to assemble with the instructions clear and organized. The generator runs very very smoothly and provides enough power for my appliances, including the refrigerator, lights, and a few electronics if really needed.

Great Power Without Ruining the Campsite

This is not a tiny camping generator, but it feels much more refined than the open-frame unit I used before. I use it for RV camping, mainly for the A/C, microwave, and battery chargers. The sound is controlled well enough that it does not ruin the campsite, and the TT-30R adapter makes RV hookup easier.

Clean Power for My Electronics

Clean power matters to me. I use laptops, a router, phone chargers, and camera batteries during outages. The inverter output has been stable in my testing, with no flickering LEDs or strange charger noise.

Ultra-Clean Power Quality

I’m running a home server and sensitive audio gear, so I’m paranoid about THD. Put a scope on this inverter and it’s a rock-solid pure sine wave. The <2% THD means no flickering LEDs or buzzing speakers. Remote start is a lifesaver when it’s pouring rain and you don’t want to leave the porch.

A/C Startup Beast

My 13,500 BTU RV air conditioner used to trip my old 3k unit every time the compressor kicked in. This 6800PT handles that 6.8kW surge like it’s nothing. Pro-tip: flip the ECO mode to "OFF" when running the AC to keep the voltage steady during those big hits. The wheels make it easy to move around the site.

C

Natural Gas Game Changer

Just hooked the 6800PT to my home’s NG line. No more hoarding gas cans that go bad in six months. Even with the slight power drop on NG, it keeps my fridge and 13k BTU AC humming without a hiccup. If you live in a hurricane zone, the tri-fuel is the only way to go.

M

Seamless Fuel Switching Worked as Advertised

I tested the automatic fuel switching by running the generator on propane with a fridge, freezer, router, and several lights connected. When the propane tank ran out, it switched over to gasoline without shutting everything down. That is the kind of feature you really appreciate if you plan to run backup power overnight.

Heavy, But Easy Enough to Move

Heavy, but the wheels and folding handle make it manageable. For 6800 peak watts, I expected some weight. Rolling it around the garage is no problem.

Real US-Based Support. Excellent 3-Year Warranty Peace of Mind.

I was a bit skeptical buying a heavy generator from an independent online store, but Erayak proved me wrong. Delivery was fast (though the box was heavy, FedEx left it in the driveway). During unboxing, I noticed a minor plastic scuff on the frame from shipping. I emailed their support and got a reply from a real person in California within 24 hours. They registered my 3-Year Peace of Mind warranty immediately and made sure I was 100% happy. The machine starts on the first pull/electric start every time. Knowing the engine and mainboard are fully covered makes this worth every penny.

Finally! An inverter that handles my 50A RV Dual A/Cs without stalling.

I’ve gone through three open-frame generators in my full-time RV life, and they all sounded like jet engines. The Erayak 6800PD is a game changer. I run it exclusively on Propane (LPG) because I hate cleaning gummed-up carburetors from stale gasoline. It powers both of my 15k BTU RV air conditioners and the microwave at the same time, with zero AC stall. At around 90-ish lbs, I can easily roll it into my truck bed using the built-in handle and wheels. The quietness at eco-mode is incredible. If you have a 50-amp camper, stop researching and just get this.

The Ultimate Whole-Home Standby Killer! Hooked to Natural Gas Flawlessly.

Bought the 6800PT Tri-Fuel after a massive ice storm left us freezing last year. Having a 240V setup was a must for our deep well pump. I had an electrician install a transfer switch, and it hooked up to my home's natural gas line perfectly with the included hose. We ran it for 36 straight hours during the last outage—powering our well pump, 2 full-size fridges, the furnace blower, and our Starlink internet. Clean power (<1.5% THD) meant no fried electronics. No driving through blizzards for gas. It’s an absolute beast, yet surprisingly quiet for this output. Best insurance policy I ever bought for my family.

Propane-First Operation Is Exactly What I Wanted

Propane-first operation is exactly what I wanted. I do not like storing old gasoline, especially for emergency backup. With this unit, I can run LPG first and still have gasoline ready if the propane tank runs out. That makes the setup feel much safer.

The 120/240V Selector Sold Me

The 120/240V selector was the feature that sold me. I wanted something portable but still useful with a manual transfer switch. The L14-30R outlet gives me a cleaner setup than running extension cords through the house.

Built for Real Outages, Not Just Weekend Use

This is the first generator I have owned that feels like it was designed for real outages, not just weekend use. The dual-fuel setup is practical because propane stores well, but gasoline is still easy to find when needed. I tested it with the refrigerator, freezer, lights, router, and a portable A/C. The lights stayed steady, and my electronics did not act strange. It is heavier than a small inverter, but that is the tradeoff for 6800 peak watts, 240V capability, and real 30A outlets.
