This inverter is one of the best options for summer or winter emergency use. If you plan to use it continuously, you'll need the right capacitor. Double the 8awg capacitor to get 4awg, which is actually comparable to the inverter's output power. Don't count on the digital display, though. It's a rough estimate, but there's a 4-5V error depending on the input power. I powered it with a Lipo battery pack I built myself, and it got 15.43V.
It's currently selling for $249. Honestly, for a pure sine wave power source that can power a 500-watt refrigerator, a 1000-watt microwave, a 43-inch/75-inch TV, an internet modem, and prevent all my LED bulbs from humming or flickering for hours on end, it's a good deal (I connected it to my house during a lightning-struck utility pole that caused a power outage).
You can buy a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) to plug into or connect to the inverter's output. It has a built-in fuse for protection, just like a car stereo amplifier. You can also add a 160A fuse to the positive battery terminal for extra protection.
Wanted a pure sine wave investor for my backup project and this fit the bill in all aspects that I wanted.
This is a really good inverter. It's spot on with the conversion and energy output and is so fined tune it works within specs perfectly. With 2000 watts, it can convert power for anything I need without issue. The pure sine wave attribute is critical to me. It prevents certain things from potentially being damaged or destroyed.
It has an 18 watt USB port which is great for fast-charge capable devices. I used it for several days camping not too long ago and it worked like a champ. I had no problems at all. The LCD screen provides current information and is nice a clear and easy to read.
It's a great inverter and I would recommend it.
Wow, this is one top quality inverter for my emergency backup system! I live in a hurricane impacted state and am using this unit with a solar panel, charge controller, and deep cycle battery as a way to provide power in case my electricity is out for a long period of time due to the lines at the road being down. In all the tests so far, it has performed beautifully and should be good for this purpose. I like that the unit has both 110 volt power outlets and USB outlets. I also like the status display on the top of the unit. In addition, the remote control is a nice feature although I will not need it. Only time will tell, but so far I am impressed with this product's performance. With that being said, I am ranking this unit at the top with five stars for sure!
I was able to hook this thing up to some of my industrial test equipment an analyze the output and the sine wave and it’s pretty spot on with what you’d be looking for in a pure sine wave inverter. I did further testing and it has run my microwave and my air conditioner without faulting out which only a sine wave inverter can do. The ground fault resets on the individual outlets are a really nice touch, as are the built in fast charging ports (tested to 20w). I like this inverter so much that I have decided that if it lasts another few months without fan or inverter failure, I’ll be adding a second one to my system.
Very happy with purchase, preaty heavy, sturdy aluminum body and quality made! I hope it last.
This inverter works great. We live in Florida, better known as hurricane country, and we are using it with solar panels to charge batteries, which in turn run the inverter. One solar 100W solar panel, one battery 100AH, and this inverter is able to power two televisions, two air purifiers, lights, Phone and internet service (we are continuing to test it but it sure beats having to turn on a gas=powered generator in times of power loss.) We are planning to add more solar panels and batteries to it and we will be able to power everything needed during temporary power loss. Great product.
Pay attention to the dimensions - make sure you have room for it.
If you do, it's great. Hooks up easily and works well.
I’ve been using the Erayak 2000W pure sine wave inverter for my off-grid solar setup, and it’s performed impressively. It converts 12V DC to 110V/120V AC efficiently, providing reliable power for home appliances, RV, and truck systems.
It’s also been a great asset during power outages. The inverter's stable output and fast charging capabilities ensure that essential devices and appliances stay running when the grid goes down. The LCD monitor and remote controller make it easy to manage, even in emergencies, keeping you connected and powered up when you need it most.
The 18W USB-C fast charger is a convenient feature for quick device charging, and the 6-meter remote controller adds flexibility for controlling the inverter from a distance. Overall, it’s a solid, high-performing inverter that’s been essential for my off-grid power needs.

We installed a French drain system with a sump pump at our house. We had issues with water intrusion through the foundation. This works well but the pump requires power. We have hurricane Milton bearing down on our location. There’s a high chance that we will lose power. I connected the sump pump to the inverter and it easily runs the pump each time the sump fills with water. The inverter is very quiet, puts out clean power, and has enough capacity to start motors.
