Bought this generator last year to use with my travel trailer.

Unit has less than 30hrs and is dumping gas everywhere. Trying to get support - we will see what support we get. Okay just after writing this review, I went out and tried to start the generator one more time and this time it operated as expected. No more fuel dumping out of the carburetor and running as smooth as day one. I am still waiting to hear from manufacturer support - so I will up grade one and a half stars for now.

reliable, efficient, and easy to use!

I couldn’t be happier with this generator. It’s the perfect combination of power, portability, and quiet operation. I was honestly surprised at how compact and lightweight it is for a 4500W unit, it’s easy to move around and store without taking up a ton of space.

One of the biggest highlights is how quiet it runs. Even under load, it’s much quieter than other generators I’ve used, which makes it ideal for home backup or camping. The ECO mode is a great feature too, it helps save fuel and keeps the noise down even further.

It provides clean, stable power, so I feel completely comfortable using it for sensitive electronics like laptops and TVs. The multiple outlets (including USB) make it super convenient for powering different devices at the same time. Great value considering the cost!

Overall, this generator has been reliable, efficient, and easy to use. Whether for emergencies or outdoor use, it delivers exactly what you need. Highly recommend!

Reliable, light and quiet

While browsing for midrange power generators I came across this one at a good deal. Since I've had experience with this brand before, I decided to grab it (I own a smaller version of this generator and love it).
While my current generator works well, it doesn't have the power needed to use during a long power outage. I wanted something with a higher peak and running wattage, that could run multiple appliances/devices without tripping the breaker. So here are the pros I've found:

It's much quieter than a standard cage-type gas generator.
The build of this generator is very compact and easy to move.
Being an inverter is a plus since I would have some electronics and delicate devices hooked up to it during an outage.
It fired up on the first pull, no issues.
This is much lighter than some 4500w generators I've used in the past.

I tested out a few items on this, adding devices little by little, and it never tripped. I'll give it a real tough workout at some point and I'll try to come update this review with more info.

One minor thing I wish it had would be a larger gas tank but for this compact a genny, there's going to be a trade off and it's not a deal breaker in my opinion.

All in all, for what you get at this price point, it's a great buy. I'm quite happy with this purchase.

A powerhouse!!

My friend has a camper that I use during the summer for road trips. Last year, his generator stopped working, and since I was planning a weekend trip, I decided to buy this generator.
Initially, I was considering a 2400W model, but I ended up going with this 4500W unit and I’m glad I did. It’s quite powerful and handled all my appliances without any issues, including the oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, washer, and dryer.
It is a bit heavy, but the weight is well-balanced, so it doesn’t feel like you’re lifting a full 55 lbs. The generator comes with a funnel, but it doesn’t include engine oil, which was a little disappointing. However, oil is inexpensive, so it wasn’t a big deal. It’s not too noisy you hardly feel it after a while. I started multiple times over the weekend and each time it work with the first crank.
Overall, it’s a great machine to have and worked perfectly for my needs.

Reliable and easy start.

I use this on my sailboat. I can run several med powered items at same time. Charge batteries, make water, and run my outlets through shore power at same time. Don’t overload the 30 amp plug. Generator will disconnect. Although when restarted it is back to normal.

Very pleased with my choice

"I researched for months (as I do for most purchases) and after roughly two months I’ve run and put this generator through many tests.
I’m very pleased with customer service which is in Colorado and highly recommend this “middle of the road” product.
As for the decibels that some people commented on, I believe it is very modest and I suppose everyone has different expectations."

Great Product!

I was very happy with this generator. When I opened the package and saw that it was double-boxed and well-protected, I knew I was off to a good start. I followed all the provided instructions which included adding oil and fuel. It started on the first pull. I contacted customer service because I had a couple questions on how a few things worked. Customer service was very helpful and knowledgeable. Knowing I can easily contact someone with all the information about this product is what really sold me. The compressor I use at home and for jobs draws a lot of power and usually takes out the breaker, but I refuse to get rid of it because I've had it for so long. Once I connected the old compressor to the new generator, it ran with ease. The generator was so quiet and had no problem with the big draw from the 6HP compressor. I'm very happy with this generator and recommend purchasing one for your work or travel needs.

Perfect Power for Pressure Washing & Power Tools

Bought the Erayak 4500P to run my electric pressure washer and power tools where outlet access is limited. Ready to use out of the box after adding oil and gas. It starts my pressure washer instantly and keeps it running full blast with zero bogging down, even when I’m also running a shop vac. Super quiet in ECO mode, clean inverter power, no issues with sensitive tools or battery chargers. Best bang for the buck inverter generator I’ve owned. Highly recommend! Five stars!

So far so good.

Great fit for our 17 ft Travel Trailer. Runs our AC and appliances with no problem. We manage what’s running at any given time to minimize stress on the generator like you should but the power matches the Onan 4500 that was on our motorhome but without the fumes and the volume. We still haven’t had the need to run it for extended hours but I have confidence it will perform if needed. We carry it mostly for quick stops or overnights at Harvest Hosts with no hookups. The cover we purchased has flaps that allows us to use it right on the bumper carrier.

Works as advertised

Not bad. Bought this for my camper to run the A/C when hookups are not available. It Runs my camper a/c but I believe it's close to its limitations. The generator stalls if i attempt to run the a/c and microwave at the same time, which I expected being that it's 3500 running watts or so. It's light, way quieter than my standard generator, and half the price of a predator. I sold my traditional craftsman 3500 watt generator because this one does everything it does but smaller and easier to move around. I was skeptical being that it's a no name brand but only time will tell. I'll update this review if issues arrise but so far so good. I also like that it has an eco mode in which it runs at a lower idle and becomes even quieter and saves fuel. It has a 30 amp connector but uses a different style plug than my camper, however, it comes with an adpater so it hooks up just fine. It also came with an extra spark plug with a little maintenance kit. The pony initial setup needed was to pull the side cover and fill the oil which is not included. Pulling the side cover for maintenance is super easy, just a few screws and clips. Anyway, check out the video for the test I did on it, I think it was worth the price overall.

Great light weight generator

I am a general contractor who uses power tools frequently in spaces without access to power. I bought this to run jack hammers, fans, charge tools, etc. i used this at a job site and was able to run multiple power tools on it at once which helped speed up my job process. I have been very impressed with how compact and portable it is and yet how much i am able to run at once. I would recommend purchasing this. I have a Honda 3500 generator and i find myself taking this smaller one more often with the size and less space it takes up. I am able to load and unload myself which is a huge plus. If you are looking for something with enough power to run multiple tools or machines, this is the generator you need.

Great Buy for the price

Great Buy
First I was a little irritated as it wants 15W40 as engine oil which is used normally for Diesel engines but i followed the instructions. Then fill up with gas and ready to start
Start was so easy. One pull and it started pouring like a kitten. Noise in Eco is so low that it will not interrupt any conversation or listen to radio or watching TV.
These are my first impressions luckily I have the opportunity to try this Generator in real time this coming weekend and I will update this review afterwards

Awesome inverter generator for the price!

I purchased this generator primarily for tailgating and camping, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. The build quality is excellent, with sturdy plastic, well-secured screws, clips, and easy-to-use controls. It feels solid and durable, which gives me confidence that it will last through many uses. When in operation, it powered everything I needed with ease, and I even felt like it had extra capacity left—it never struggled to keep up.

The generator arrived on time and was impeccably packaged. It came protected with plenty of air wrap, ensuring it was in perfect condition upon delivery. One feature I really appreciated was how all the operational instructions are printed as stickers directly on the unit. This makes it super convenient, as I never have to hunt for the instruction manual to figure out how to start, shut down, or add oil.

Another thoughtful inclusion was the small kit provided for adding oil, which made the process very straightforward. The generator also came with wiring for connecting it to another generator, allowing for increased capacity if needed. Additionally, it includes a 30A adapter, which is a great bonus—you won’t need to purchase one separately, saving you both time and money.

I was especially impressed with the quality of the housing. The design is not only sturdy but visually appealing, with a nice color that stands out. With easy access to replace the spark plug with minimal tools, another spark plug was also included. At our tailgate, the generator performed flawlessly. The noise level was minimal, and it didn’t disrupt our experience at all. It’s also lightweight for its power capacity, making it easy to pick up and move around.

Fuel efficiency is another big plus. It only used about 1.5 gallons of gas over 8 hours of use, which I found impressive. If you’re looking for a generator for emergencies, camping, or tailgating, this is a fantastic value. I would absolutely recommend it—10/10!

What kind of oil does it use? How much oil does it need?

Erayak Power

You can use 10W-30 or 15W-40 engine oil.

The oil capacity is 600 ml, which is approximately 0.16 gallons (about 20 oz).

I live in Denver Co at 5280 feet elevation and camp at higher altitudes. Will this affect running and efficiency of the 4500 w

Erayak Power

Yes, high altitude will affect engine performance and efficiency. As elevation increases, the air becomes thinner, which can lead to reduced power output and slightly higher fuel consumption.

We are currently working on a high-altitude kit that will help optimize performance in these conditions, and it will be available in the future.

If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out.
