6V/12V 2 Amp Smart Battery Charger – Car Battery Maintainer & Trickle/Float Charger

Good trickle charger. Charged the battery in my gas golf cart.

i have since modified this to quick connect to my ranger and tractors with SAE connector on my batteries and this charger. It does a great job and makes keeping my batteries in rarely used items in good condition.

This battery charger is a lifesaver! It works perfectly for both 6V and 12V batteries, and I love that it doubles as a maintainer to keep my car battery in top shape. Simple to use, reliable, and a great value!

Installed and working as advertised - great charger

I was in the market for a trickle charger that was small enough to hard mount onto my recently acquired Outlaw 110 - saw this, took a few measurements and hit our all time favorite button.... "Buy Now".

A few days later and it shows up - packaging is great, has instructions for those who need them, and the physical base unit itself was small enough to neatly tuck next to the Air box (L-side) and secured to the frame. Just enough length on the outlet cord to run along the frame and have it restored just behind the LF headlight for ease of access.... Couldn't have asked for a better product.

It charges the YTZ7S battery fantastically! Came up to it this morning after two days of rest and it's keeping the battery happy and healthy. Will be purchasing again!

Very heavy duty little box and it works great in the garage. Nice to keep a motorcycle or car connected in the winter time. I keep my KLX on it but sometimes use it to trickle charge a car when we travel. Has worked great so far.

I got this for a special Mustang that is not a daily driver. I was disappointed when I found the battery was dead. I was going to just replace the battery but decided to give this a try. Super simple, and after a full night, the battery was charged and good to go. I have since put it back on periodically and it keeps the battery charged and ready to go.

My wife has a 2020 Honda Civic tour and sometimes it might sit for two weeks before she drives it. With all the electronics in these new cars her car battery will be dead. I have had this charger for couple of weeks and keep it hooked up. Works great! This also keeps the battery charged and healthy.

good little charger

I got this partially because I need a SLA charger and maintainer but a little bit also because of it restoration function. Some newer charger/maintainers like this also have the ability to apply a pulse that can help break up crystalization inside the battery. While this will not bring an old or damaged battery back to a new state, it does help with things like when a battery is allowed to discharge too far at least once but not significantly damaged otherwise.

I didn't know for sure if it would help with my own car's battery, but decided to try it anyway. It actually did indeed seem to help. Before using this it would only last a few minutes with the radio powered on after the car was shut off before it would shut it down due to low voltage. Now it lasts about 30 minutes. This also translates to holding up much better when sitting over time. This is not magic, so it is very limited in what it is able to do (more serious damage may not even be repairable short of basically rebuilding the battery,) but in cases of one of the more common minor causes of SLA battery capacity loss it does indeed help.

As for the actual charging and maintenance functions, these seem to work quite well. It's only a 2A maximum charge rate (it lowers twice in later stages of the charge process) so not well suited to large batteries such as those of a car except as a maintainer (which needs very little actual current,) but will do in a pinch if you have the time (I believe it listed 60 hours as the time required to 100% fully charge a car battery -- although it will likely crank in much less time than that.) You will probably want one of the larger ones for those. However, it does have the advantage of being able to safely work on practically any SLA battery you can reasonably throw at it -- provided you can spare the time for a larger battery. I am also using this to maintain (and hopefully restore) a much smaller battery and so far it seems to be working just fine.

I purchased the Erayak 2A charger, and it has exceeded my expectations! i have a Jeep that sits a significant amount of time. it hadn't been driven in nearly 7 months and the battery was stone dead!
