Erayak 2400 Watt Portable Inverter Generator - Reliable Power for Home, RV, and Emergencies | 2400P

I just bought this generator as a replacement for an older Honda generator/inverter and so far, I am REALLY liking this new Erayak model, (especially at this price - Our Honda was 3-4x the cost to replace) It’s super quiet and it’s really lightweight. I hope to find it to be as reliable. I am planning to use it for camping soon that’s why I tested everything upon arrival and I’m thoroughly impressed. Will leave updated review after our camping trip. It was easy to start, and functioned with steady power. It appears to be a good choice for portable power. I also plan to use during power outages, (we live in Florida and have hurricanes sometimes so it’s important to have a good generator) Smart purchase and Highly recommend especially for this price point! My husband and I were looking for a generator for a while and did plenty of research. We ended up purchasing the Erayak 2400P inverter generator. We bought it for our camper for when we go boondocking. The product came packaged well with lots of air wrap to protect from damage. As soon as I opened the box, I noticed how durable and solid the generator was. We needed to test it out before we took it to our camping trip. We were able to get it started no problem and hooked it up to the camper. It was able to generate enough power for the camper and then we tested it to charge our golf cart and it worked perfectly for that as well. We ran it for a few hours to test how well it would do and it showed no sign of strain and was able to heat the camper no problem. It is lightweight for being a generator and compact. Easy to store at home when not in use and grab along to those camping trips. It has surge protection and all the safety features. It is also fuel efficient. What else do you need?!

My husband was surprised at how quiet it was especially on ECO mode. We could barely hear it when we were in the camper. Also, at the price it was, it was a steal. Even on sale, other similar generators were at almost double the price. It has been working perfectly for us so far and hasn’t given us any problems. The quality of the generator is great, it runs really well without any issues. Starting it is very simple and the its very fuel efficient. I can run it with my tools for a few days before having to fill up with gas so it saves money in that manner. The weight makes is convenient to carry it wherever I need to go without anyones help. You don’t need a big car to carry it, it’s compact enough to fit inside a small car which is great. The noise level is minimal which I love. I can work without the loud noise of regular generators and without disturbing others. I run several tools with it and it has no problems functioning. I can charge my phone and drills quickly. The eco mode is a great feature to have. It reduces the load on the generator so it helps save more on the fuel consumption and makes it even quieter. The proper maintenance of the oil and gasoline will help keep the generator operating for even longer periods. The value for the money is top tier. It's very nice. We are impressed with how little gas it consumed, we didn't think a gallon would last us that long with such a heavy load but it managed to be over 6 hours with a whole kitchen worth of appliances connected, a TV and some other random electrodomestics, just to see how it went. It's easy to get it started, the manual is pretty easy to understand and it doesn't require a lot of strength, im an averge sized woman and i could do it. Talking about the manual it has pretry useful stuff like the service intervals, just like a car and it describes all functiones very througly. It feels wel built and solid, no rattling or weird sounds when moving it around or when working at full throttle. We had it outputting anywhere from 400W to 1800W for a good part of the night and it handled it no problem, you could hear it accelerate automatically as needed. I will eventually built a safe enclosure and an interconnect for it as we will always use it in the same place (even though it's not that heavy and can be brought out and moved around, we are just lazy haha) to charge our solar bank when the sun is not providing enough energy, which has been the case this winter with so many rainy and gloomy days. Charging the batteries at 1800 is pretty quick for our purposes and when needed we can power straight from it. We also did it's first oil change as this test was also meant as a break in and it was simple, my husband commented on the little ramp that it has so oil doesn't go everywhere and the included bottle being very useful. The amount of oil is pretty small compared to what I have seen him use on cars and he was done in no time. I don't think an oil filter is required.
