The Erayak 4500 PD Tri-Fuel Inverter Generator checked "all the boxes" for the type Iof generator I was shopping for. It runs quietly, easy start, runs on clean fuel using it for connected to a Natural Gas outlet I had my plumber install, lightweight at only 55lbs and with the handle it is easy to maneuver for this 71 yr. old lady. I haven't had to run it for emergency purposes yet but in South Texas the hurricanes and tropical storms knock out power at least 1x year. I know now I'm prepared to protect my 2 refrigerators so not to lose the food kept in them. Very pleased with my choice in a generator.

I took this inverter along on a recent long drive and it worked like a charm. I had the Erayak trifuel to provincial Ecuador, and it arrived three weeks ahead of time, passed through customs like a breeze (faster than DHL), and was delivered to my doorstep. I set it up quickly and tried it with both gasoline and propane, and it worked instantly. It does work more stably with propane, but it never turned off by itself with a load of my whole house (that works for 110V), i.e., all lights on and two tvs plus the full-size refrigerator. Run it for 4 hours straight, under the rain (no problems with connectors). Well made device, silent compared to all my neighbor's generators.

I recently got the Erayak 4500w inverter generator for my home and camper trips, and it’s been fantastic! With 4,500 starting watts and 3,500 running watts, it powers everything from my heater and air conditioner to sensitive devices like my laptop without any issues. The pure sine wave output ensures clean power, so I don’t worry about damaging electronics.
One of the best things is how portable it is, at just 54 pounds, it’s incredibly easy to move around. Plus, it's super quiet, so it doesn’t disturb people while we are camping or using it at home.
The fuel efficiency is impressive, too. We were able to run it all night when it was cold one night and didn’t have to refuel until the next morning. I also like the built-in CO detection which adds a layer of safety, automatically shutting down if carbon monoxide levels rise.

We take this Glamping-- combines the idea of roughing it with the convenience of electricity. works with 110 and 3 prong power cords. Came in super handy for a breast pump that didn't have a portable charger. Planning on taking it on a road trip soon.

Use this when I go camping to connect devices that need 120v power. Make sure your vehicle is on or it will drain your battery.

First off, this generator is really nice. Its compact, its packed up nicely, was double boxed and secured well. I bought a smaller Erayak in the past that I liked which was just enough power for a deep freezer and maybe a fridge, however I have a natural gas line that is hooked up in the back of my house for generator and grill that I used for this generator since its tri-fuel which is a lot easier than having to have gas on hand, as you can see in the picture above with the hose. I got the hose and connectors for mine from amazon for $44 for my gas line from Patiogem, its nice as well.

I highly recommend you watching the video on Youtube from James Condon about this generator. He does a good job showing and telling you what you need to do to break it in which is very important, the oil in picture above shows how dirty the oil is after the 1st change and all the metal fragments thats in it.

The oil was very hard to find in small containers, I went to 3 different automotive stores in order to the find a store that carries quart size containers of the SAE 15w 40 all of the stores only had gallon size, however if you can't find that specific oil the video I mentioned above he uses a different oil. It took I believe 3 full plastic filler at the 200 line to fill it up properly. The plastic filler came with the generator

I used 2 heaters which was my best way in order to get enough wattage to properly break the generator in, I ran it for about a hour before my 1st oil change which you can see how nasty it looks.

Overall its a great generator that I highly recommend, I will not be using it often and most of the time I will have it stored... However I am glad how easy it was to get going and how much power it easily ran and most of all I am thrilled I can run it on my natural gas line.

I bought this because I needed something to run my pellet stove during our harsh winters. We often have power outages and I really don't want to leave my family without any source of heat considering all of our heat sources are electrically operated.

I picked this up so I could operate our pellet stove and it does so just fine. And even operates a few lights at the same time with no issues.

I ran it through a break-in of about 1 hour under load. After that I changed the oil and ran again with fresh oil for another hour. I highly recommend this process to get rid of any contaminants after the initial run. It will help the engine last a lot longer.

It's lightweight for a generator, easy pull to start and is well labeled so you know what to do to get it going. Thick plastic and I don't suspect I'll have an issue with longevity.

I had no fuel leaks or issues. I did open up each side and double check everything before I put any fuel in it. I suggest you do the same as mistakes can happen on any assembly line. It's only a couple screws to open up each side panel.

I work on cars and I sometimes do mobile auto detailing. A lot of the times my clients will request that I remove odors from their cars, one of the best ways to do that is to run an ozone generator in the vehicle. However, the ozone generator requires constant power for sometimes 90+ minutes. If the car is in a parking lot, field etc, how are you supposed to power it?

I’ve used non-inverter generators in the past and you go nearly deaf when working next to it.

The ERAYAK generator is super easy to use. When I got it out of the box I was surprised by how light it was. Like I said, I’ve used the old frame-style generators, and they weigh a TON! Since I’ll be using this on the road a lot I was happily surprised that I didn’t throw out my back while trying to move this thing around.

It was easy to get up and running! I opened the box, pulled out the generator, added some oil, followed the instructions, and it was up and running with a pull of the cord. Maintenance looks like it will be easy, the spark plug is easy to access via a small panel on the top, the oil was easy to find and fill via the provided funnel, and it comes with an awesome little tool kit that has an extra spark plug, some adapters, and other goodies.

Been watching James Condon's videos for a while, and, I suppose impulse bought this because it ticked the boxes that I have been thinking about and I was impressed with how it performed. Clean sine wave inverter, good capacity, can run in parallel if needed, and for me, dual fuel (propane and gasoline). No natural gas in my area, so I won't use that.

Admittedly I haven't put it to much work yet, but I have been running it for break-in on both gasoline and propane. It starts on the second or third pull for me. It does auto-switch between the two fuels as described, stumbling slightly but not stalling out. I did notice the red propane light only partially lighting up when I slowly cracked the propane valve, but when I shut it off, paused, and then opened it quickly, the red light lit up bright. I did the first oil change after 1-1/2 hours of running, and there was some fine glitter in the oil, but nothing that concerns me yet. I'm running 15W-40 in it.

Overall, it seems like a good unit, but there are a couple of things worth mentioning. For one, the sticker on the side says 450mL oil, the manual says 0.6L of oil, and I ended up adding 650mL to get halfway up the dipstick. 450mL barely wet the tip of the dipstick. Also, the Phillips-head gas bowl drain screw is blocked by the side support bar. It looks like it'll be tricky to drain the bowl. Update: Not really tricky, but use a flatblade instead, Phillips didn't catch very well. Draining the bowl does get a few teaspoons of gas out.

But the unit runs very smooth, is not noisy (I wouldn't say it's quiet, but it's not annoying), it holds voltage and frequency well (~122V at 59.97Hz is what I was seeing with 1000W of load), and the wheeled dolly addition makes it easy to move around. I'm pleased with it so far. I'm feeding it non-ethanol gasoline but am going to invest in a couple more containers of propane for longer term storage. This will be an emergency generator for me. Here in Texas we need all the backup power we can get.
