Perfect for Job Sites

We bought this generator for my husband to use at his job sites that have no power yet. He can easily carry it with one hand.

Pros:
-light weight- single hand carry
-provides tool kit with oil cup
-initial startup, started on second pull
-able to charge tool batteries, power large fan, and power large demo hammer simultaneously
-pretty quiet for the size of the generator

Cons:
No fuel gauge
No digital readout for hours, voltage or amperage being used

Overall, it does a great job and we’re happy with this purchase.

Excellent device, powerful, and easy to use!

Powerful, easy to use, portable, and quiet; these are the perfect words to describe this device. Upon unboxing, the only thing you need to do is add oil and gas and you are ready to fire it up. It is just that simple.

When it comes to utility, several receptacles are sure to please. It comes with two 120V/20A receptacles that can be used to power normal appliances as well as a USB port you can use to power your small devices. Additionally, there is an L5 - 30 receptacle that you can use to plug in things such as a trailer, making it great for those weekend excursions.

The device itself is not heavy, and the easy-to-use handle on top of it makes carrying it a breeze. There's also an optional caddy attachment that bolts to the bottom of the device; it allows you to roll around your generator a lot like the luggage rollers you see at airports. Again, this device is an absolute treasure.

Since this is an inverter generator, it does ramp up and down as needed when it comes to loads. My tests have the generator sitting at 60db while idle, and around 80db when under a full load. If you plan on using this in a residential setting, your neighbors will thank you.

In addition to the device, you'll also find a small tool kit and a darling little bag. In the bag, you'll find tools to help you change out the spark plug, as well as a replacement spark plug, a small oil can to help with filling the oil reservoir, and a battery charging adapter.

The only thing I wish this device had was the ability to generate 240V, as well as an L14-30 receptacle to go along with it. That would make it a great house-ready generator for emergencies.

Powerful for its size! Motor is very quiet.

We purchased this generator for the backup power when our power goes out. It frequently happens with bad storms. The first time we used it, we powered our garage refrigerator/freezer, our house refrigerator/freezer, a portable AC unit and then charged all our electronic devices over and over again. We had zero issues so far and are very happy with the purchase so far. It’s a great feeling knowing than you still have power even if the power goes out! I love the large 2 gallon tank and super quiet running motor as well. I was really surprised when I started it up, I realized how quiet it actually is! MUCH quieter than a lawnmower.

Emergency Generators

The generator comes in a sturdy box, well-padded to prevent damage during transport. The unit itself weighs 24.5 kg, making it not lightweight but manageable, allowing for "mobile" use (garden, camping, festivals, etc.).

The carry handle is part of the housing, with no sharp edges, making it comfortable to hold. This feature enhances the generator’s portability.

The generator is well-organized, with all connections located on one side and easily accessible.

Important to Know!
When starting the generator, you should have enough oil and gasoline ready. Even if a slight oil film is visible on the dipstick, there isn’t sufficient oil in the unit. Speaking of oil: according to the manual, you should check the oil before every use. To do this, the side cover must be removed, secured by two screws. A flap in the filling area would be much simpler.

Before the first start, I added about 450 ml of oil. The maximum level had not yet been reached, and the dipstick indicated roughly half full.

Two types of oil are recommended. At the nearest gas station, only one of the two types was available. 10W30 was out of stock, so I had to use 15W40.

The starting procedure was initiated as described. The engine ran unevenly until I switched from "Start" to "Run." The green light did not illuminate, and the connected device received no power. I turned the generator off and tried again shortly after. The device started right up, and after switching to "Run," the green LED lit up. For a stress test, we connected a 1000-watt hot plate. The motor revved up noticeably but seemed to handle the load without issue. The noise level also increased a bit; during continuous operation, you wouldn't want to be nearby.

When connecting a load with lower wattage, the RPM remains consistently low, making the noise more tolerable. However, it’s still not enjoyable to be close by. 😉

We only operated the generator briefly to test it. It is indeed designed for "worst-case" scenarios, such as a blackout. It's meant to keep the freezer and maybe the aquarium running. Additionally, it will be useful for our grill hut in the woods.

For extended use, you should keep an eye on maintenance intervals. An overview of the operating hours will indicate what tasks need to be performed: check/refill/change oil, clean/change the air filter, clean/change the spark plug, and check/adjust valve clearance.

The manual provides ample information on what needs to be done and when. It’s available in several languages. The compact booklet should be kept safe.

The included accessories come with tools to remove the spark plug, unscrew the side cover, battery clamps, and a handy oil can. The can is useful for filling the relatively deep filling neck. Although other users have mentioned that the supplied can isn’t practical, I am very satisfied with it.

I have a good feeling about this generator. While you need to keep up with maintenance, the unit performs well with multiple power consumers.

So, it’s essential to have a plan in place for what you intend to use it for before purchasing.

impressed generator

Everyone should have a generator at home, especially during times of crisis. A natural disaster can isolate you from electricity for days, so it's wise to be prepared. Just imagine a storm destroying your power supply: no refrigerator, no lights, no internet, no TV, no stove, no oven, no heating, and no (hot) water (pumps also require electricity).

Just to maintain your food supply, having such a generator is worthwhile. You can also use it in the garden shed, for parties, and especially for camping trips.

Design and Features
The ERAYAK emergency generator has an attractive design and is equipped with a 4-stroke engine that delivers a maximum output of 2400 watts. It is relatively lightweight, weighing only 19 kg, which makes it very portable. The generator features an oil sensor, an ECO mode, and an LCD display, making it a powerful and functional device.

Performance and Reliability
I was impressed by the performance and reliability of the ERAYAK emergency generator. It started immediately and ran smoothly without any delays or interruptions. It provided a stable power supply sufficient to run my electronic devices, including the refrigerator. The ECO mode helped reduce fuel consumption, making the generator more environmentally friendly.

Noise Level
One of the most impressive features of the ERAYAK emergency generator is its quiet operation. Compared to other generators I’ve used before, the ERAYAK generator was remarkably silent. Even when operating at maximum output, it produced only a soft hum. This is an important factor, as having a generator that isn’t too loud is crucial during a power outage, ensuring it doesn’t disturb your sleep or that of your neighbors.

Portability
Another great feature of the ERAYAK emergency generator is its portability. The lightweight and compact size make it easy to move from one place to another. This is especially useful for taking it on camping trips or travels. The generator is also easy to store, as it doesn’t take up much space.

Value for Money
Compared to other emergency generators on the market, the ERAYAK generator is very affordable. For the price, it offers impressive performance, reliability, and quiet operation. I believe the ERAYAK emergency generator provides excellent value for money and is a great choice for anyone in need of a reliable generator that isn’t overly expensive.

Conclusion
Overall, I am very impressed with the ERAYAK 2400W emergency generator.
